Astréa 42 – Perfectly-sized catamaran

Fountaine Pajot builds on nearly 45 years of catamaran excellence to conceive the Astréa 42, a yacht that makes their philosophy of sharing a full life at sea a tangible reality. Building on the success of the Saona 47, the she boasts many of the same features and amenities as her larger sister, including the recognizable inverted bow that’s become a trademark of the series.

Impressive interior volume is coupled with a careful balance of social spaces and privacy to achieve a masterpiece of fine living at sea. At just under 42-feet, the Astréa is manageable in size yet provides ample space and thoughtful lounge areas to make her a live-aboard dream.

Outdoor living standout

Movement and communication aboard the Astréa 42 is optimized with a number of features including wide side decks, convenient steps to the roof, extra wide sliding doors between the salon and cockpit, and large transom steps and built-in aft platform for gentle access to the sea.

Your perfect place, in or out of the sun, is always in reach whether relaxing on the expansive roof sunbed, lounging on the foredeck cushioned seating or enjoying the shade on the cushioned double lounger in the aft cockpit.

Outdoor dining is enhanced by the large cockpit dining table with wraparound seating, and the convenient outdoor plancha grill.

Astréa 42 layout

Step into the salon and be bathed in sunlight from the 360° windows and skylight. The cook will  appreciate the sizable U-shaped galley with double sinks, easy-access countertop oven and impressive countertop work space.

Below, find peace and privacy in the voluminous master suite, complete with an elegant and sizable en suite bath.

The Fountaine Pajot Astréa 42 is available in 2 impressive cabin layouts to suit your cruising style. The 3-cabin/3-bath Maestro version offers a master suite filling the starboard hull, and 2 double cabins to port, while the Quatuor version offers an efficient 4 en-suite cabin layout for the larger crew.
