This hybrid electric version – the Elba 45 ODSEA+ – features Fountaine Pajos’s exclusive cutting-edge technologies for low-carbon, autonomous cruising and highlights the brand’s commitment to the environment.

Renewable energy for autonomous cruising

The production of renewable energy at sea is achieved with solar panels on the coachroof, as well as an option for hydroelectric power created by reverse-spinning propellers while under sail. The Fountaine Pajot Elba 45 ODSEA+ electric catamaran pairs this energy production with a pair of advanced Smart Electric© motors and two large LFP lithium battery banks, the most stable technology on the market.

The solar and hydroelectric power stored in the battery banks can provide energy for an extended stay at anchor, while a combustion engine powered generator serves as a backup and maintains a minimum charge. An advanced energy management system lets you monitor and adjust energy production and expenditure from a convenient display console. 

 Largest flybridge lounge in its class

Elba 45 electric catamaran features an abundance of outdoor lounge areas, expansive interiors and refined details that provide a sanctuary at sea reminiscent of home. 

The flybridge lounge area is the largest in its class, with massive wrap-around cushioned seating and double sunbed for relaxing and sunbathing with a view. 

The foredeck is another popular gathering area, with additional sunbed loungers and opening windows for communication with those in the salon. Comfortable outdoor dining for a crowd can be found in the aft cockpit, complete with a dining table, wrap-around seating and outdoor plancha grill.

Elba 45 Electric interior spaces

Inside, the Fountaine Pajot Elba 45 electric is a seamless open concept space with a galley that wraps the port side allowing plenty of workspace. The U-shaped salon seating area is bathed in natural light from massive panoramic windows and 2 large skylights above. Modern, refined light and bright finishes give the interior an inviting and airy feel.

Make the Elba 45 ODSEA+ yours with a choice of 2 impressive layouts to suit your cruising style. Choose the 3-cabin/3-bath Maestro version with master suite filling the port hull, and 2 double cabins to starboard, or the Quatuor version with its efficient 4 ensuite cabin layout.
