Sporting hard chines, a nearly flush deck and a broad stern, the Dufour 470 is a striking performance cruiser that will elevate the onboard experience, whether bluewater sailing or moored at your favorite anchorage.

Dufour’s hybrid Smart Electric version pairs advanced renewable energy production with an innovative electric propulsion system to create a comfortable, quiet and eco-friendly cruising solution that’s true to the brand’s vision.

Sustainable cruising solution

The Dufour 470 Smart Electric incorporates a hybrid electric motor and a bank of lithium-ion batteries. The battery bank powers the electric motor, and also serves as an energy source for all onboard systems.

Solar and hydroelectric power is stored in the battery bank to provide energy systems while at anchor, while an engine-powered generator serves as a backup to maintain a minimum charge. An advanced energy management system lets you monitor and adjust energy production and expenditure from a convenient display console.

Equipped for your needs

The designers of the Dufour 470 electric yacht have taken versatility to the next level with customized versions to accommodate a variety of cruising lifestyles: an Easy version, Ocean version and Performance version.

While many will choose the Dufour 470 monohull for its performance, she is also well-equipped for entertaining, with large bench seats that convert to sunbathing beds, and an aft cockpit area with large dinette and refrigerator.

The drop-down transom serves well as a swim platform, as well as providing space for using the outdoor galley, complete with plancha grill, sink, and plenty of counter space.

Dufour 470 Electric interior

The expansive salon and galley have the feel of a full-fledged yacht, both in the sheer volume, and the refined finishes. Large skylights, hatches, and side windows provide ample natural lighting.

The Dufour 470 Electric provides a choice of four interior layout configurations. The popular “front galley” layout offers 3-cabins and 2-baths with a forward owner’s cabin.

Layouts featuring a “longitudinal galley” to starboard can accommodate larger crews with options for 3-cabin/2-bath, 4-cabin/3-bath, or 4-cabin/4-bath layouts.
