Another winning creation by Felci Yacht Design, the 47-foot Dufour 470 sailing yacht is brimming with a classic style and sophisticated touches – true to the Dufour lineage of excellence in both aesthetics and performance. Sporting hard chines, a nearly flush deck and a broad stern, the Dufour 470 is a striking cruiser that will elevate every onboard experience, whether bluewater sailing or moored at your favorite anchorage.

Further, the Dufour 470 is available as a hybrid Smart Electric version, pairing advanced renewable energy production technologies with an innovative electric propulsion system – showcasing Dufour’s commitment to sustainable sailing.

Versions to match your cruising style

The designers of the Dufour 470 yacht have taken versatility to the next level with customized versions to accommodate a variety of cruising lifestyles: an Easy version, Ocean version and Performance version. 
The Easy version is for owners looking for simplicity and comfort, offering an elegant deck flow designed for easy mobility. The Ocean version features a traditional plan with the sheets positioned on the coamings and the halyard and mainsail trolley controls near the helm station. The Dufour 470 Performance version is perfect for lovers of racing,  its clew at the rear of the cockpit and its specialized “performance” equipment.

Outdoor innovations

Form and function harmonize effortlessly on the deck of the Dufour 470. The gentle curves of the coach roof are low enough for excellent visibility from the twin helms, while leaving space for wide side decks for easy movement. 

While many will choose the Dufour 470 for its performance, she is an entertaining wonder. Upon mooring, the large bench seats make excellent sunbathing beds, and the beamy aft cockpit area enhances the livability of the cockpit. 

The massive drop-down transom serves well as a swim platform for watersports and sunning,  as well as providing extra space for using the innovative outdoor galley, complete with plancha grill, sink, and plenty of counter space.

Inside, the expansive salon and galley have the feel of a full-fledged yacht, both in the sheer volume and the refined finishes. Large skylights, hatches, and side windows provide ample natural lighting.

Dufour 470 specs include a choice of four interior layout configurations. The popular “front galley” layout offers 3-cabins and 2-baths including a forward owner’s cabin with queen-size berth and separate shower stall – all inviting and bright, thanks to large hull windows, an extra large overhead skylight window and 2 hatches.

Layouts featuring a “longitudinal galley” to starboard can accommodate larger crews with options for 3-cabin/2-bath, 4-cabin/3-bath, or 4-cabin/4-bath layouts.
